The Water Vapor loop shown here demonstrates nicely an upper level low over the area which is bringing clouds, light showers, and drizzle to portions of the area this morning. The upper low does move northeast and conditions improve late this morning into this afternoon with the sun returning. By this afternoon temperatures are expected to top out mainly in the lower 70s with a good amount of sunshine and a stiff northwest breeze. | US National Weather Service New York NY
