Shelley Cronau started CrossFit in November 2024. Less than a year later, she is competing at the highest level of the Sport of Fitness for adaptive athletes. Before CrossFit, Cronau was a 2020 Tokyo Basketball Paralympian. Now, she is a 2025 Adaptive CrossFit Games event winner. Cronau finished Event 2, The Grip Reaper, in 4:45, good for first place in the Women’s Seated With Hip Function Division.
